Rustic rooms and a nice reception invite you to linger. There is wifi in the hotel. Breakfast is ok. The dinner is very good and an absolute recommendation!

Nice and clean rooms. Very friendly and courteous boss, as well as the rest of the staff. We could have parked our motorcycles in the private garage. Every morning there was also scrambled eggs for a rich breakfast. The menu and the quality of the food left nothing to be desired and the prices are rather cheap. Ideal for bikers, centrally located for tours through the Franconian Switzerland, Hassberge and the Fichtelgebirge. In addition, the hotel is centrally located in the village, the cultural attractions, the heated outdoor pool and the rest of the restaurants are all within easy walking distance. We felt extremely well and drove home with a crying eye. Again compliment to the amiable boss. Happy again !!!

Nice hotel in Hollfeld, even with late arrival very friendly. Breakfast was great with everything what it takes to have a great start to the day. Room very clean and a very comfortable bed. Bathroom in the corners very neat and in the shower no mess or discoloration. A sufficient parking lot at the house. The einfährt is a bit tight but no problem. There is a star deduction because there is no award for the hotel. It's a bit hidden, as every sat-nav at the main road says it reaches destination. However, then you have to drive something cooking. That's a bit disturbing. Maybe a few signposts can help here. Otherwise, I can only recommend.

We were received very friendly, the breakfast was very rich and tasty, the really big rooms were absolutely clean and comfortably warm. The hotel is in a quiet location - the place itself is now not exactly a metropolis. As an affordable, clean and pleasant accommodation for hikes, etc., the hotel is really recommendable, although it may not seem that way from the outside. A star deduction because of the somewhat old-fashioned decor. But it does not matter, otherwise everything fits!

On the occasion of our beer hike we were able to extensively test this restaurant on two evenings. Attentive, unobtrusive staff, delicious local beers, and a good menu without a lot of bells and whistles. Regional cuisine. No one needs more. The prices? Absolutely appropriate. Come and see for yourself!

This place is special. It's run, in its most recent incarnations, by the third generation of the Stoessel family with enthusiasm, friendliness and pride. Directly between Bayreuth and Bamberg in the northernmost Frankische Schweiz, the food and drink are local and very well prepared and served. The light pine interior is warm and bright.
